Ima have to ask all ya’ll folks who pronounce .gif with a hard-G— do you pronounce “knife” as “KUH-NIFE”

Well… GIF does stand for Graphic Interchange Format, so unless you pronounce “graphic” with a J sound- “juh-raphic”, the hard g works.
